Who is responsible

This site belongs to Salvatore Olivella, chef and pizzaiolo in New York. For anything about your data, write to salvatoreolivellachef@gmail.com or call +1 (917) 565-2192.

When you send a request

The booking and contact forms ask for your name, your email, your phone number if you want to give it, and the details of what you are asking for: dates, number of guests, place, budget and your message. We use them only to answer you and to organise what you asked for.

With the request we also save the first page of your visit and the site that brought you here, for example Google or Instagram, so we know which channels bring people.

To stop automated spam, the server keeps a one-way code made from your network address and counts how many requests it sends in an hour. The address itself is not saved.

Visit statistics

We count visits ourselves, without cookies and without tools from other companies.

For each page we record: the page, the site you came from, the campaign name if the link had one, your country, region and city as worked out by our hosting provider from your network address (we do not keep the address), the type of device, browser, operating system and language, the width of the window, the language chosen on the site, how long the page was open while you were using it, how far you scrolled, and clicks on phone, email, booking forms and links to other sites.

To tell visitors apart we compute an anonymous code from the network address, the browser and the date. It changes every day, so visits on different days cannot be joined, and we never use it to find out who you are. A random visit code is kept in your browser tab and disappears when you close it.

The statistics contain no names, emails or phone numbers, and we do not share them.

Where the data are kept

The site runs on Vercel and the data are stored with Supabase, on servers in the United States. When email notifications are on, requests are also sent by email through Resend.

How long

Requests are kept for as long as we need them to handle what you asked and to keep a record of the work, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete what you sent us, or tell us to stop using it, by writing to salvatoreolivellachef@gmail.com. If you live in the European Union you can also complain to your data protection authority.

Changes

If this page changes, the date at the top changes with it.
